Information we handle
Research study
We receive the answers a participant chooses to submit through Google Forms. Contact information is optional. Please do not submit patient or client information, health information, passwords, or financial details.
When someone interacts publicly with @shidava.co, we may receive public comment text, comment and media identifiers, Instagram-provided account identifiers, and timestamps. We also receive performance insights for SHIDAVA-owned content.
SHIDAVA does not request or process Instagram direct messages through this system.

How we use information
- Review study responses, primarily in aggregate, to identify recurring industry patterns and inform future research, tools, and services.
- Publish and measure SHIDAVA-owned content, maintain operational records, prevent duplicate actions, and enforce authorization and safety controls.
- Classify public Instagram comments and draft or post a narrow response only when the comment is eligible under SHIDAVA's safety rules.
- Escalate comments involving medical, legal, privacy, complaint, crisis, partnership, testimonial, or other sensitive matters instead of automatically replying.
We do not sell personal information, rent it to others, or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Services that support the work
Limited information may be processed by service providers acting on SHIDAVA's behalf: Google for study collection; Meta for Instagram publishing, comments, and insights; Railway for secure cloud hosting and storage; and OpenAI for bounded research, classification, and drafting. OpenAI requests are configured with response storage disabled.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect rights or security, investigate misuse, or comply with a valid legal obligation.

Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to perform the purposes described here, maintain safety and audit records, respond to requests, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by record type. Information is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer needed.
SHIDAVA uses restricted workspaces, protected credentials, authenticated webhook requests, access controls, and bounded automation rules. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and data requests
- Participation in the SHIDAVA study is voluntary.
- Providing contact information in the study is optional.
- Instagram users may delete their own public comments through Instagram.
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with you, subject to verification and applicable legal or security requirements.

Updates and contact
We may update this notice as SHIDAVA's research or systems change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised notice is posted. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to the address below.
